Nelson and Marlborough

The Marlborough region, with Nelson as its leading city, is renowned internationally as New Zealand’s most famous wine producing region.  Known by many as the ‘food bowl on New Zealand’, Marlborough’s fertile river plains and the long hours of sunlight the region enjoys produce exceptionally fine fruits and grapes.

In the waters of the Marlborough Sounds, salmon and the fames New Zealand green-lipped mussels are farmed.

Satisfy your longing for faraway places, from Farewell Spit or Abel Tasman National Park in Golden Bay, with its coastline of turquoise waters and golden sand beaches, to Kahurangi and Nelson Lakes National Parks.
