New Zealand has a temperate climate and, generally, the further south you go, the cooler the average temperatures range.

Seasons

Its' location means that it has the reverse seasons to the Northern Hemisphere, making its summer months Dec to Feb, and its winter months Jun to Aug.  Temperatures range between 15-30 degrees in the summer and 0-15 degrees during the winter, depending where you are.   Use the links to left hand side for more detailed information about each season and how we recommend you make the most of them.
